In kindergarten we “Love one another” as Jesus loves us! We are excited to be using the “Superkids” language arts program for our reading and writing curriculum. There’s Cass and her cat, Coconut, who like to cook. Golly, the dog, is always up to
mischief, and Hot Rod has a race car named the “Fast Cat”. It is amazing how well the students can sound out words before the end of the second trimester. We also love patterns and numbers from even to odd and ten to one hundred. 100 is a special
number in kindergarten. It is a long awaited day to celebrate the one hundredth day of school! We study slithering snakes, dangerous dinosaurs, and incredible insects. Comparing bears to deer and penguins to ducks is always fun with Venn diagrams.
